Goats Split With Walk Off Winner in Game 2

The Jackson Rockabillys split with the Hoots of O Fallon with scores of 4-0 and 6-5. The Hoots 13 game win streak is now tied for the second longest in Prospect League History as they come up short in game 2 in Jackson.

In game 1, the Hoots started loud putting up 4 runs in the first 3 innings that the Goats never had an answer for as they strand 10 in the loss. Bryce Thompson had a 2/3 contest despite the loss which was the only multi hit contest for the Goats as they lose 4-0.

Game 2 started quite the opposite as the Rockabillys jumped out to a 3-0 lead which quickly became a 5-5 contest going into the 7th inning. Dante Onorato does the job the Goats need as he goes for 4 innings pitched with 7 strikeouts as he picks up the win on the contest to give him a 3-0 record. The multi hit games came from Peyton Woods and Zachary Long as the Goats finish the job with a Logan Luckett walk off sac fly.

The Rockabillys continue their home series tomorrow as they play the Hoots for Eras night at Rockabillys Stadium.
